Pre-curated Panels: Choose from over 200 expertly curated panels created by geneticists with decades of experience in genomics. These panels are designed to cover the most common testing indications across multiple disciplines

The AnyPanel™ test is exactly as it sounds, “any panel.” Whether you are choosing from a list of over 200 expertly-curated panels or creating your own custom panel, we strive to meet the needs of our clients and patients.

Since the AnyPanel™ test can be customized based on a patient’s clinical symptoms and subsequent differential diagnosis, this test can be used in most instances where genetic testing is being considered.

The genes on our pre-curated panels were chosen by our expert team of board-certified geneticists based on the clinical indication of the test and the genes’ association with disease.

TRIO-based are large genetic testing panels are designed for genetically heterogeneous disorders where a relatively “common” phenotype could be caused by a large number of genes. Given the large number of genes included in these panels, a TRIO-based method is utilized to aid with clinical interpretation.

No, TRIO-Based Panels can not be customized at this time.

PerkinElmer Genomics accepts multiple sample types including Saliva Swabs, Dried Blood Spots, Whole Blood, and Genomic DNA.

All reported variants are confirmed using an orthogonal method.

PerkinElmer Genomics follows the published ACMG guidelines when classifying identified variants.

Yes, a full list of pre-curated panels can be found here.

No, all AnyPanel™ tests are the same cost regardless of the number of genes ordered. However, TRIO-based panel tests do have an increased cost since three sample data sets are required to generate the results.
